So, the question: why do I want to be a female? It can hard for cis people to understand, but I'll see if I can explain it the best I can. Something just feels...wrong. Like, I'll see a girl, and I'll feel like I'm that, even though I'm not. It's like every part of me is female, except my body. Which really, really sucks. I don't know if I did a good job explaining this, but I did it to the best of my abilities.

"So, like, why do you wanna be a girl?"
This isn't a question I've been asked before, but I figured I'd answer it as a response in case it ever is.

Pokémon Retrospective and Reviews: Prolouge
In 1965, in Machida, Japan, a young boy named Satoshi Tajiri was born. As a boy, he was obsessed with insects, always hunting and catching them. However, in the late 1970s, the ponds and forests the boy held so dearly were replaced by large buildings. Soon, Tajiri pursued a new interest: arcade games.
While in technical school, Tajiri found a love for arcade games; he'd skip classes to play them.
In 1982, after graduation, he started a magazine with some friends, one named Ken Sugimori, called Game Freak. As Tajiri learned more about games, he became more interested in making them. In 1987, he published his first game, Quinty, and two years later, started a game company with the same name as his magazine.
In the early 1990s, Tajiri saw two children playing Game Boy together via link cable. This gave him the idea for a game, where people could trade and battle creatures with the link cable. He pitched his game idea to Nintendo. It was called Pokémon.
Stay tuned for the official part 1, which covers Pokémon's development, release and reception.

Obligatory Introductory Post
Hello. My name is Stephen. I'll write reviews, Let's Plays (yes, text LPs exist) rant about things that don't matter, rant about things that do matter, make dumb things, and generally have a good time.
A few things you should know about me:
I LOVE POKÉMON, and it will be a very common subject.
Most music reviews will be of Beach Boys albums.
I have Aspergers Syndrome and gender dysphoria. They will also be common subjects.
My writing tends to be very dull, even when I attempt humor.
So yeah. That's about it. Have fun, I guess.
